However, Stay Dry Textile Protector utilizes alkane isoparaffins, a mixture of hydrocarbons (mineral oils), as the solvent base in its formulation. Spray evenly onto the surface, from a distance of approx. 10 cm for textiles and 30 cm for leather.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eProperties:\u003c\/strong\u003e After the solvent evaporates, a fluoropolymer-modified nanolayer is formed. This layer thickness of between 100 nanometers and microns (1\/1000 mm) is water and oil repellent. The entire drying process and the effectiveness of the impregnation take about 24 hours at a relative humidity of up to 70%. When the substrate is stained with water or oily products, the stain should be absorbed with absorbent paper.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e Do not wipe the stain away. Oil stains may form a shadow or ring. This can be removed or greatly reduced by cleaning with detergent. An evenly applied layer will not affect the appearance of the textile or leather. Some substrates may darken slightly in color.
